Sacrifice.pro is an online chess competition platform. Users may participate in paid and promotional tournaments where outcomes are determined by player performance and chess skill. By using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
In these Terms: "Competition Participation Fee" means the fee to enter an eligible tournament; "Competition Prize" means a prize awarded based on published standings; and "Payout" means payment of an approved Competition Prize under our payout policies.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use Sacrifice.pro. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
Legal Capacity: You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Prohibited Jurisdictions: You may not use Sacrifice.pro from jurisdictions where participation in paid skill competitions is prohibited or restricted. We may apply location, payment, account, and verification controls to enforce territory restrictions. You remain responsible for complying with laws that apply to you.
Account Creation: To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
One Account Per Person: You may only maintain one account on the Platform. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination of all your accounts.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform.
Competition Participation Fees: Participation in some tournaments requires payment of a competition participation fee. Participation fees are non-refundable once a tournament has started, except as required by law or as explicitly stated in tournament-specific terms.
Fair Play: All players must play fairly and in accordance with chess rules and etiquette. Cheating, collusion, or any form of unfair play is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification and potential account termination.
Time Controls: Players must adhere to the time controls specified for each tournament. Failure to make moves within the allotted time may result in forfeiture of the game.
Disputes: In the event of disputes regarding game results or tournament outcomes, our decision is final. We reserve the right to review games and take appropriate action, including reversing results if cheating is detected.
Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods as displayed on the Platform. All payments must be made in the currency specified for your region.
Competition Prize Distribution: Competition prizes are awarded according to published tournament rules and final standings. Prize amounts are determined by tournament format and published fee structure. We reserve the right to modify future prize structures, but will honor prizes for tournaments that have already started.
Payouts: Approved competition prize payments may be transferred to your account balance and paid out according to our payout policies. Processing times and minimum payout amounts may apply.
Refunds: Competition participation fees are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be issued in exceptional circumstances, such as tournament cancellation or technical issues preventing participation, at our sole discretion.
Sacrifice.pro tournaments are intended to be genuine skill-based chess competitions. Winners are determined by tournament performance under published rules, not by random chance mechanics.
The Platform does not provide a facility to place bets on third-party events, offer bookmaker services, or set odds on external outcomes.
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any Competition Prizes or funds, where permitted by law and these Terms.
Platform Content: All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and code, is the property of Sacrifice.pro (Sacrifice Games) or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
User Content: You retain ownership of any content you post on the Platform. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform.
Game Records: Game records and tournament data may be used by Sacrifice.pro for analysis, improvement of services, and promotional purposes.
Service Availability: We strive to provide continuous access to the Platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sacrifice.pro (Sacrifice Games) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.
Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sacrifice Games operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.
