Sacrifice.pro is a community built on mutual respect, fair competition, and a shared love of chess. Every member of our community — from beginners to grandmasters — deserves to feel welcome, safe, and respected.
This Code of Conduct applies to all interactions on the platform, including in-game chat, the Green Room, discussion forums, direct messages, and any other communication channels.
Expected Behaviour
What we expect from all community members
Be respectful: Treat every player with courtesy and respect, regardless of their skill level, background, or identity
Play fairly: Compete honestly without external assistance, engine use, or exploitation
Be a good sport: Accept wins and losses gracefully. Congratulate opponents on good play
Be helpful: Support newer players and contribute positively to discussions
Report issues properly: Use the official reporting channels for genuine concerns
Respect privacy: Do not share other players' personal information

Harassment & Abuse
Personal attacks, insults, or threats of any kind
Harassment or bullying, including persistent unwanted contact
Hate speech, discriminatory language, or slurs based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, disability, or any other characteristic
Sexual harassment or sharing inappropriate content
Cheating & Exploitation
Using chess engines or receiving external assistance during games
Multi-accounting or account sharing
Match fixing, sandbagging, or result manipulation
Exploiting bugs or platform vulnerabilities
Disruptive Behaviour
Spamming chat, forums, or direct messages
Deliberately stalling or wasting time in games
Toxic behaviour or persistent negativity
Impersonating other players or staff members
Advertising or soliciting without permission
Other Violations
Sharing or requesting personal information of other users
Attempting to circumvent bans or restrictions
Encouraging others to violate these standards
Any activity that violates applicable laws
Communication Guidelines

Constructive and relevant to chess or platform topics
Free from excessive profanity or vulgar language
Respectful of differing opinions and playing styles
Appropriate for a diverse, international audience

Violations of this Code of Conduct are taken seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency, consequences may include:

For first-time or minor offences
Temporary Mute/Suspension
Restricted access to communication or platform features
Permanent Ban
For severe or repeated violations
Reporting Violations

All reports are reviewed confidentially. We will never reveal the identity of the reporter to the person being reported.
